Letcia Gamiao, housekeeper at the Aqua Waikiki Wave, was recently named outstanding lodging employee of the year by the Hawaii Hotel and Lodging Association. She’s been a housekeeper at the hotel for more than 12 years and makes it a priority to write personal notes every day to each guest she serves. Recipients of HHLA’s accolades are selected based on nominations submitted by their supervisors and co-workers, and are judged on the basis of outstanding and exceptional service to hotel guests, coworkers and the community.

Vincent H.S. Lee, CEO of the Hawaii Health Systems Corporation Oahu Region, has been appointed board chairman of the Asian Health Care Leaders Association. Lee will serve a one-year term of office, presiding along with 19 fellow directors over the leadership organization established in 2008.

Jason Martinson has been named vice president and wholesale and affiliated business manager for Central Pacific Home Loans, a subsidiary of Central Pacific Bank. Martinson’s duties include overseeing CPHL’s sales of the wholesale mortgage division, which provides funding options for third-party originators and mortgage brokers, as well as managing CPHL’s joint venture mortgage companies.

Corlis Nihei has been hired as vice president and region service support officer for Central Pacific Bank. She is responsible for administering CPB’s Community Banking operational and service standards, and providing training, development and direction to the West Oahu and Neighbor Island region branches. She has more than 30 years in the financial services industry.

Kara Kitazaki-Chun has been promoted to manager for Accuity LLP’s management consulting practice. With the company since 2007, Kitazaki-Chun provides a diverse array of consulting services to both private and public organizations in management consulting, human-resources consulting, business-process improvement and more. Prior to joining the company, she held various consulting and management positions where she provided services to banks, among others.
