Greg Cabanting has been named director of media marketing for Communications Pacific’s CP Advertising division. He previously served as director of marketing for Anheuser-Busch Sales of Hawaii.

Fabian Toribio has been named director of production for Communications Pacific’s CPAdvertising division. He previously worked as an advertising assistant at Pacific Business News.


Debi Halcro has been promoted to president of the Valenti Print Group. She has 25 years of production, management and sales experience. Halcro joined Valenti in 1991.

Kim Evans has been promoted to associate with Group 70 International. She joins 13 current associates responsible for managing the firm. She has more than eight years of urban and environmental planning experience.

Jackie Ingamells has been elected to the board of directors of The Hawaii Youth Symphony Association. She is vice president-sales and marketing at CTA Solutions.

Marilyn Cristofori has been elected to a three-year term on the national board of directors of the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts. She is the executive director of the Hawaii Alliance for Arts Education.

Robyn Sweesy has joined Helber Hastert and Fee Planners as a senior planner. Sweesy’s employment history includes working as a designer and project manager for the local firm Tongg, Clarke and Mechler.

Faye Watanabe Kurren has been elected to the board of directors of First Hawaiian Bank. She is the president of Hawaii Dental Services.

Dee Jay Mailer has been elected to the board of directors of First Hawaiian Bank. She is the chief executive officer of Kamehameha Schools.

Frank Alexich has been promoted to senior executive vice president of Dream Cruises Hawaii. He previously worked as vice president of sales and marketing for the firm.

Carrie L. Brown has been promoted to vice president and product manager from assistant vice president and product manager for business products for Bank of Hawaii.

Tiffany C. Chang has been promoted to vice president from assistant vice president in the corporate banking division for Bank of Hawaii. She has more than 18 years of banking experience. She joined the firm in 1986.

Arthur Van Diggelen has been named president of Dream Cruises Hawaii.

Nathan R. Torres has joined Applied Wholesale Mortgage as a loan officer. He will be responsible for assisting customers with their needs in the mortgage industry.
