Bonnie Hilory has been named executive director of Alumni Engagement and Communication for Hawaii Pacific University. In this role, Hilory will oversee fundraising, alumni relations and communications. She has spent the last 30 years working for nonprofit organizations, and prior to HPU worked as the executive director of InvestED.
James M.K. Stone Jr. has been hired as manager, risk management for Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties. In this position, Stone will oversee the resolution of legal and ethical issues between the company and its clients, as well as assist staff and agents in managing and resolving client or transactional issues. He brings 21 years of legal experience to the firm.
Dale Lee has been named vice president/compliance manager at Territorial Savings Bank. Lee has 18 years of banking experience and joined the bank in 2008. Lee’s responsibilities include ensuring the bank complies with the laws and regulations applicable to financial institutions.
John Simmons has been hired as a special inspector of the Testing and Inspection division for Baldridge and Associates Structural Engineering Inc. Simmons joins BASE after 10 years in northern Nevada as a structural steel detailer and special inspector. He is a 26-year veteran of the industry and is certified as a
master of special inspection.
Roxanne Choy has been named spa manager of the Moana Lani Spa, A Heavenly Spa by Westin at Moana Surfrider. Choy will oversee retail, front desk and daily operations. She joined Starwood Hotels & Resorts in 2006 as housekeeping manager for the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani and the Moana Surfrider.
Bonnie Lee has been appointed human resources manager for Bella Pietra. Lee brings 10 years of management experience to the company and will now oversee all aspects of the human resources department.
Sharon Ogawa has been named director of spa at Moana Lani Spa, A Heavenly Spa by Westin at the Moana Surfrider. Ogawa was most recently spa director for the Golden Door Spa at the Waldorf Astoria Dakota Mountain Lodge in Park City, Utah.
