Donald G. Horner, chairman and chief executive officer of First Hawaiian Bank, has been named chairman of the board of directors of the Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau for 2011. In this role, Horner will look to further strengthen the synergy between tourism and local business communities on all islands. Horner also serves as board chairman of the First Hawaiian Bank Foundation, board member and treasurer of Iolani School and board member emeritus of Mid-Pacific Institute.

Ronnie Nasuti has been named executive chef for Tiki’s Grill & Bar. In this position, Nasuti will work to revamp the restaurant’s menu, among many other duties. He served as executive chef at Roy’s Restaurant in Hawaii Kai for 10 years, and prior to that he helped open Roy’s Poipu on Kauai, and worked at Chez Michel’s and Roy’s Park Bistro in Waikiki.

Clementine Gebauer has been hired as retail store manager for the South King Street and Downtown/ Fort Street Mall locations of Mobi PCS. Gebauer will be responsible for sales performance, product inventory and merchandising, as well as hiring, training and management of all store staff. She previously served as assistant store manager of Mobi’s Nanakuli and Kapolei locations.

Ben Momblow has been appointed civil engineer and project manager for Coffman Engineers Honolulu. Momblow has been with the firm for more than 10 years, working mostly out of Coffman’s Anchorage office. In this role, he will provide clients with civil and structural construction administration, construction inspections and project management services.

Diane Oyadomari has been hired as Realtor-associate for Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties’ King Street office. Oyadomari has more than 20 years’ experience in real estate, buying, selling and managing properties. She also has spent several years as an aviation communications team lead in California. Prior to joining the company, she served as a team lead at ARINC, an aviation solutions company.

Ouida Yvonne Morris has been named 2010 outstanding professional fundraiser by the Association of Fundraising Professionals - Aloha Chapter National Philanthropy Day. Morris also works as director of institutional advancement for Maryknoll School. With more than 30 years experience in the nonprofit sector, Morris oversees all of Maryknoll’s fundraising and communications.
