Rusty Ann Nishiyama has been named a retail buyer for Sandal Tree. Nishiyama has been in retail and sales for five years as a buyer as well as a sales representative.

Josay Fernandes has been named spa director for the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa. He has more than 20 years of experience in the hotel and spa industry.

Laurie Tom has been named to the board of directors for the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific. She has been a director of the Rehab Foundation since 1998.

Mark Oshio has been named to the board of directors for the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific. Oshio is the retired president and director of Schuman Carriage Company.

Corbett Kalama has been named to the board of directors for the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific. Kalama is executive vice president and regional manager of First Hawaiian Bank.

Mark Teruya has been named to the Rehab Foundation board. Teruya is president of Produce Center Development Corporation, vice president of Kula Produce Co., and president of Armstrong Produce.

Jeffrey Bareng has been promoted from operations manager to general manager of the Aloha Stadium Swap Meet for Centerplate. He will be responsible for the total management of Aloha Stadium Swap Meet operations, including vendor relations, strategic planning and special events.

Glenn Arakawa has been named financial consultant for American Savings Bank. He will be responsible for assisting customers in downtown Honolulu with investments, insurance, estate planning and college savings.
