The Hawaii Filipino Women’s Club celebrated its 53rd annual Terno Ball at the Ala Moana Hotel Hibiscus Ballroom. Aside from the regular Terno (national costume of a Filipina) and Barong (national attire of a Filipino gentleman) contest, four distinctive woman achievers in the field of medicine, journalism, business and humanitarian service were honored.

Special guests also enjoyed entertainment by Angeli C. Callo, folk dance by the HFWC Dance Troupe, a silent auction and dance music by Star Pointe.
