Under the clear skies of Kakaako, the John A. Burns School of Medicine opened its grounds to 650 guests. The campus was transformed into a wonderland with a whimsical floral design provided by Dean Christopher.

The Alana Dung Research Foundation held its gala “Dreams and Dragonflies — Seeds of Hope.” This year’s gala fundraiser took place in honor of Dr. Edwin C. Cadman, former dean of the John A. Burns School of Medicine.

The menu for the evening was a creation of Chef Grant Sato from the University of Hawaii-Kapiolani Community College Culinary School.
