Alzheimer’s Association Dinner
Del.icio.usThe Alzheimer’s Association Aloha Chapter held a gala dinner last month at Hilton Hawaiian Village.
The event celebrated the late J.W.A. “Doc” Buyers, former CEO of C. Brewer & Co., who developed Alzheimer’s disease in the last years of his life. One of the evening’s goals was to raise money for the Doc Buyers Memorial Fund, which aims at raising $2.8 million over 5 years - $100 for each of the 28,000 Hawaii residents affected by Alzheimer’s.
