The Pacific Buddhist Academy celebrated its fifth annual awards dinner “Lighting Our Way” at Waialae Country Club. The event - which featured a silent auction, Taiko performances and a tea ceremony - honored inspirational leaders former Gov. George Ariyoshi, Jean Rolles (Outrigger Hotels) and the late Lois Yasui, as well as Honolulu Habitat for Humanity.
