The Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii’s 20th annual Hawaii Military Appreciation Month is held each May to honor and recognize the invaluable service and contributions Hawaii’s military provides to our state.

A featured event is the annual Military Recognition Luncheon. This year’s celebration, attended by more than 1,000 military personnel, business leaders, government officials and residents, welcomed home the thousands of troops who returned from combat duty in Iraq and Afghanistan and paid tribute to the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Maj. Gen. Eric Olson and Col. Greg Boyle spoke on behalf of members of the 25th Infantry Division and 3rd Marine Regiment, and expressed their deepest appreciation for the continuing support of the business community and Hawaii’s citizens.
