Good-bye Daiei, Hello Don Quijote
Del.icio.usDon Quijote, the new owner of what was formerly Daiei, celebrated the opening of its new stores with a grand opening ceremony and blessing recently at the store’s Kaheka Street location. Special guests enjoyed food sampling, entertainment and were even able to take advantage of some great in-store specials as well. All four Daiei stores on Oahu became Don Quijote stores, and each will undergo extensive store renovations and feature an expanded line of merchandise. The first to undergo the makeover is the flagship Kaheka Street store.
