MidWeek and the Honolulu Star-Bulletin recognized the first-place award recipients of this year’s reader’s poll at the 2008 Hawaii’s Best Celebration recently.

More than 200 people attended the gala celebration at the Pacific Club. Guests enjoyed cocktails, premier restaurant stations and entertainment by the Kenny Endo Taiko Ensemble and Teresa Bright.

The food stations included “Best” winners 3660 on The Rise, Compadres Bar & Grill, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Gyotaku Japanese Restaurant, Sam Choy’s Breakfast, Lunch & Crab, Halekulani, The Hanohano Room and RumFire.
