HBA Alumni Dinner
Del.icio.usHawai’i Baptist Academy welcomed alumni - from classes as far back as 1955 up to ‘05 - to its annual Ho’olaule’a Dinner July 9. The family fun included food stations, live entertainment, children’s activities and a silent auction. Lynne Nakano, an HBA teacher for 21 years, received the Alumni Outstanding Teacher Award. The Distinguished Alumni Award went to Jean Omiya Nohara, a graduate, donor and volunteer at HBA. Finally, Maureen King was acknowledged for 50 years of teaching at HBA.
