The Hilo Hattie Charity Golf Tournament was a huge success, raising more than $50,000 to be donated to The Nature Conservancy of Hawaii and The United Cerebral Palsy Association of Hawaii.

Held at the Honolulu Country Club, the tournament attracted 192 players. Following the day of friendly competition, golfers enjoyed an awards banquet emceed by Danny Kaleikini. The banquet also featured entertainment by Kahania and the ladies of Na Leo Pilimehana.
