Dance-prone symphony supporters turned out for the ninth annual Honolulu Symphony Ball, themed “Shall We Dance?” This blacktie gala fundraiser was held recently in the Kalakaua Ballroom of the Hawaii Convention Center. Guests were entertained by the Symphony Pops Orchestra and also enjoyed a live auction of a Lexus RX 400h from Servco Lexus, and a silent auction with private plan trips, a tour of the UH Institute for Astronomy and a Schimmel Grand Piano up for bid.

The event benefits the orchestra’s music education and community outreach programs for Hawaii’s schoolchildren.
