The Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii recently honored five masters of innovation at its annual Celebration of Leadership and Achievement Dinner at Hilton Hawaiian Village. The event honored Ken Hayashida of KAI Hawaii Inc., Roy Sakuma of Roy Sakuma Ukulele Studios, Anne Namba of Anne Namba Designs, Dave “D.K.” Kodama of Sansei Seafood Restaurant & Sushi Bar and sculptor and artist Satoru Abe.
