Lanakila Pacific’s Wahiawa Center Re-Opens
Del.icio.usLanakila Pacific’s Wahiawa Center, located at Wahiawa Freshwater State Park, recently celebrated its grand reopening and blessing. Politicians, dignitaries and executives were present to help the Lanakila Pacific Board dedicate the new 2,700-square-foot facility. The revitalized space now can double the amount of people it serves, and in addition to helping people with intellectual disabilities learn job and life skills, the expanded center is hoping to serve veterans, who make up a large part of the population in central Oahu.
