Maryknoll School honored Hawaii sports legend Wally Yonamine as its 2007 Noblesse Oblige Award for Service recipient at the annual Monsignor Charles A. Kekumano Awards & Scholarship Dinner. Maryknoll junior Cheri Amas was also presented as this year’s Kekumano scholar. Family, friends and Maryknoll alumni turned out for the celebration and enjoyed live entertainment by the Maryknoll School chorus and Aaron Sala. The dinner raised more than $100,000, which will benefit the Kekumano Scholarship fund and the capital campaign to build the Maryknoll School Community Center.
