The 13th annual Bernice Pauahi Bishop Awards Dinner was held recently on the Bishop Museum’s Great Lawn. The event recognizes individuals who have displayed exceptional leadership in perpetuating Hawaii’s heritage and who have provided service to the community. This year’s Charles Reed Bishop Medal went to Gov. Neil Abercrombie, and the Bernice Pauahi Bishop Medal went to OHA trustee Haunani Apoliona.
