Red Cross launched “Ready When the Time Comes” May 19 at Washington Place. Nearly 100 business leaders attended the program, which trains corporate employees as Red Cross volunteers in the event of a major local disaster, thanks to national founding sponsor W.W. Grainger and local lead sponsors Bank of Hawaii and The Honolulu Star-Advertiser/MidWeek.
