Gov. Linda Lingle was awarded the Sales and Marketing Executives International (SMEI) 50th Sales Person of the Year Award at a luncheon banquet held at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel.

Lingle and her 17 cabinet members were recognized for what they have done to improve the lives of all Hawaii residents.

Each year SMEI, Honolulu chapter, selects an individual who enhances the image of Hawaii and the quality of life in our community.
