Salvation Army Partners In Service Community Awards

The Salvation Army honored its volunteers with its Partners in Community Service awards recently at the Ala Moana Hotel’s Hibiscus Ballroom.

The outstanding volunteer award went to Chef Chai Chaowasaree for his efforts to help tsunami victims in Southeast Asia and Hurricane Katrina victims, totalling more than $230,000.

Also honored were Greg Meier, Clint Arnoldus and Don Carroll, while Claire Woods was named outstanding employee. The executive director of Salvation Army’s Family Treatment Services,Woods has been with the organization for 24 years.
