The 45th annual Mayor’s Senior Recognition Program was held April 21 at the Hawaii Convention Center. Mayor Peter Carlisle honored 80 seniors for volunteering, akamai living and their aloha spirit. The theme, “Healthy Living by Sharing Aloha,” recognized that volunteering benefits one’s health and well-being, while providing valuable service to the community.
