St. Francis Healthcare Foundation of Hawaii and Hawaiian 105 KINE presented “An Evening of Aloha: Na Wahine Kupaa - Women of Strength” at the Hawaii Convention Center recently. The signature concert was a tribute to Mother Marianne Cope and the Sisters of St. Francis on their 125 years of service to Hawaii. The all-female entertainment lineup featured Na Leo Pilimehana, Melveen Leed, Karen Keawehawaii, Haunani Apoliona, hula and contemporary dance groups, and a video tribute by artist Peggy Chun.
