A sensuous blend of decor, flavors and atmosphere created the elegance and mystique of “Indochine,” the theme for Honolulu Academy of Art’s Starlight Ball 2007.

In recent times, Indochine has come to represent a mood defined by the senses — rich textures, glowing paper lanterns, the scent of lemongrass and the soft tinkling of chimes in the distance.

The evening featured dining, dancing, revelry and art under the stars in the Academy’s elegant open-air courtyards, galleries and halls. Several of Honolulu’s top restaurants featured their signature dishes.

Starlight Ball was created and supported by ARTafterDARK, a dynamic group of young volunteers dedicated to exploring the arts. This year’s premier sponsor for the event was PRADA.
