Animal lovers made the Hawaiian Humane Society’s recent 2006 Tuxes & Tails Gala at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel a howling success.

The Mediterraneanthemed event included special guest canines during cocktail hour, unique items at an auction marketplace, a Tiffany’s Blue Box raffle drawing, live auction and gourmet dinner.

The evening, co-chaired by Koren and Nick Dreher, concluded with jazz entertainment by Willow Chang.

Monies raised will go to ensure that homeless animals will find loving families, lost pets will be returned home and keiki will learn about kindness.
