Kick Start Karate hosted its eighth annual Taste of Kick Start recently at the historic Bayer Estate. The event featured dishes by chefs Roy Yamaguchi, Alan Wong, Sam Choy and Mel Tanioka, as well as live music and a silent auction. Proceeds benefit Kick Start Karate in its mission to promote education and a healthy lifestyle for adolescents.
