The First Hawaiian Bank Rehab Golf Challenge was held at Hawaii Prince Golf Club recently. Honorary chairman for the event was Walter A. Dods. Donald G. Horner was the chair for the tournament itself, which attracted a record 288 participants and raised $217,000 for the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific.

Golfers enjoyed good eats on the course supplied by Dixie Grill, plus margaritas from Compadres. There was also a chance to win a new Saab convertible and other prizes and entertainment. The first hole-in-one in the 11 years of the REHAB tournament was made by Barry Lai of Air Central Inc., who won a trip to Europe on Delta Airlines.
