The HPA Pa‘i Awards
Del.icio.usThe Hawaii Publishers Association handed out Pa‘i Awards during its annual luncheon at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Hawaii Ballroom recently.
Judges for the competition were Mainland journalism professionals, including writers, photographers, editors and professors.
A record number of entries were received this year in 35 categories, a sign — according to working journalists in attendance — that the state of journalism in Hawaii is vibrant, and has never been better.
