The Queen’s Medical Center Benefit Dinner honored Connie Black, a volunteer at the medical center for the past 54 years. She also served on the board for 20 years and was board chairwoman for the last four years.

Black, who stepped down as chairwoman last year, was recognized for her years of contributions to the community and Queen’s. She will, however, continue to offer her services as a volunteer at the hospital.

This is the first time The Queen’s Medical Center has organized a benefit dinner. All proceeds from the event will support programs and services.
