The official party for the Rip Curl Pro Pipeline Masters was held recently at the Audubon park at Waimea Falls. The event was a benefit for the North Shore Lifeguard Association.

In addition to live music by the Opihi Pickers and a special performance by former world champion Tom Curren and friends, hundreds of people enjoyed prize giveaways, viewing of newly released surf videos and more.

This is the 35th anniversary of the Rip Curl Pro at Pipeline, which makes it the longest-running surfing championship tour of any in the world. The event will continue through Dec. 20.
