UH School of Social Work 70th Anniversary Dinner

The UH School of Social Work celebrated 70 years during a dinner at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. The honorary chairmen for the event were Walter Dods and Jeff Watanabe.

The event honored six renowned social workers who have devoted their lives to helping Hawaii’s families in need and have mentored hundreds of young social workers over the years. The honorees were Haunani Apoliona, Patti J. Lyons, Ah Quon McElrath, Masaru Oshiro, Richard and Lynette Paglinawan.
