The second annual Ukulele Festival Hawaii Gala last month at the Ala Moana Hotel featured dinner and a silent auction. Entertainment was provided by Danny Kaleikini, Ho’okena, Ohta-San and 15-yearold Nick Acosta. Proceeds from the event keep the annual ukulele festival, now in its 41st year, free to the public.
