KAHALA MALL
SMART was recently at Kahala Mall checking out a few of the “Viva La Diva” events. “Viva La Diva” is Kahala Mall’s two-week fashion and lifestyle event that features fashion shows, trunk shows, and workshops. The Fashion and Hair Show featured great fashions from Shasa Emporium, Ohelo Road, Apropos, Jeans Warehouse, Calista, Morgan Beret and EcoSystems. Marsha Nadalin Salon and Spa put on a great hair show showing tons of styles from punk-y to sleek straight. There were a number of different workshops with topics ranging from “Fashion Feng Shui” to “Create Your Own Theme Party” - speakers included Alice Inoue, Morgan Childs and Paula Rath. One of the trunk shows was local jewelry designer Lori Anne Tomonari’s Elle Face at Riches Kahala. There was so much to do for every shopping diva! But what caught our eye at Kahala Mall was the “facelift” that was going on - new stores! In addition to some of our favorites like Shasa Emporium, Marsha Nadalin Salon and Spa, Wet Seal and Blush, there are also new stores like the Apple Store, EcoSystems, In My Closet (pictured), and Nine West (opening soon). In My Closet features clothing from Miss Me, Boy Meets Girl, Harajuku Lovers, Collective Clothing and Code Vintage. The boutique has a big selection of jewelry (check out the drawers!) and other accessories like bags and belts. Get to Kahala Mall and check it out!
