Open to the public every First Friday, [area] is the latest addition to Honolulu’s ever-growing Chinatown. The store is located just above Indigo restaurant. Started by two friends, [area] features mid-century and vintage furniture pieces and objects that have been collected from Hawaii and California. Every piece has been refurbished, restored and cleaned, but still maintains its individuality and charm. Most pieces date from the 1940s to the 1970s. Check out their inventory on their website to see what’s available as well as what’s already been sold. Besides stopping by on First Fridays, send them an e-mail to let them know if you are interested in purchasing one of their pieces.

Honolulu’s newest venue, The Loft, now hosts “The Enterprise” dance party every Friday night. Ara Laylo’s “The Enterprise” parties are known for being great dance parties—and don’t be surprised to hear Bloc Party, De La Soul, Peaches and DJ Shadow all in the same night. That’s the way she rolls. Live music scheduled for the rest of the year includes Satellite Grey, Tempo Valley, Missing Dave and more.
