BEAUTY PICK

Care by Stella McCartney
$35-$76 Sephora

We love her clothing designs—not to mention admire her as one of the pioneers of fashion’s green movement—and now we can take care of our skin using the same organic-yet-smart sensibility with Care, Stella McCartney’s line of skin care. From cleansers to moisturizers to serums charged with super-powered plant-based organic ingredients and no silicones or petrochemicals, you can feel good about taking care of your skin and the planet at the same time, which is quite a feat.

St. Ives Apricot Scrub

Start off the new year with good skin. And spend as little money as possible (all that Christmas shopping really hurt, no?). The best drugstore solution for a clean, clear, soft and exfoliated face is St. Ives Apricot Scrub. This old standby is still the cheapest and most effective product to get your skin feeling and looking good. The formula has been around for more than 20 years and uses natural exfoliants, apricot extract and a blend of Swiss botanicals to brighten dull skin, buff away dead skin cells and naturally nourish and condition the skin. There are three different formulations of the Apricot Scrub—Invigorating, Blemish & Blackhead Control and Gentle. One is just right for you.
