April 5, 2007 The second annual SMART Night Out will feature “Sweet Charity” at the Diamond Head Theatre. SMART Night Out is a night at the theatre with friends, food, drink and prizes! Clip-on earrings from Forever 21
I wasn’t allowed to get my ears pierced until I was 12, so I was all about the clip-on for a few years of my life. I used to comb various branches of Longs, searching for the clip-ons among the pierced earrings, hoping to find the perfect pair. And it was the ‘80s, so all the clip-on earrings were big and graphic, like large, colorful buttons and huge, asymmetrically shaped two-toned things that were so big that they often poked you in the cheek (that’s how you knew they were big enough!). The clip-on trend (along with the ‘80s) is back, and Forever 21 has a huge selection of clip-on earrings. I love the fact that they are so huge, and now that I actually have pierced ears, I appreciate a good clip-on to give my earlobes a break from carrying a big earring. They’re all priced at around $4, which means you can buy a bunch and not feel too bad about having a pair of clip-ons for every outfit!
