57th Cherry Blossom Festival Fashion Show

The 57th Cherry Blossom Festival presents its annual fashion show Feb. 15 at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Resort and Spa featuring fashions by local designers Anne Namba, Cinnamon Girl and Allison Izu, as well as retailers Split Obsession and Swatch.
On the runway will be the 57th Cherry Blossom Queen contestants and reigning 56th Cherry Blossom Queen Trisha Tamaru and her court.
Anne Namba will show its East Meets West bridal line featuring beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces, including traditional wedding kimono or uchikake, unfolded and crafted into stunning wedding gowns stylized with obi accents.
Cinnamon Girl has added a new bamboo cotton knit line that is cool, comfortable and eco-friendly. And Allison Izu, known for its petite denim line, will introduce its new spring 2009 line.
Doors open at 10:30 a.m. and the fashion show is scheduled to begin at noon. There also will be a light lunch and a silent auction. Tickets are $55 and can be ordered at http://www.cbfhawaii.com
