Adasa celebrates the opening of its relocated Kailua boutique with grand opening festivities planned for Saturday, Feb. 11 and Sunday, Feb. 12. Just in time for Valentine’s Day, customers are invited to spin the “Wheel of Fortune” for gift certificates and prizes.

The new Kailua boutique is located at 602 Kailua Road (next to Kailua Beachwalk), and offers a taste of the swinging ’60s with visions of Sputnik chandeliers and authenticated reproductions of furniture classics such as a space-age sphere chair.

The company, which opened in 1999, was one of the first in Hawaii to carry designer brands only found on the Mainland. Currently, its designer collections include Juicy Couture, Lacoste, True Religion, 7 For All Mankind, Citizens of Humanity, Hudson, Antik Denim, C&C, Splendid, James Perse, Buddhist Punk, Diane von Furstenberg, Vince, Bernardo Footwear, Isabella Fiore, Bulga and Anya Hindmarch handbags, Me & Ro jewelry and Bliss skincare. For men, Adasa carries a variety of premium denim lines not formerly available in Hawaii, as well as a full Lacoste collection, Grail, Buddhist Punk, James Perse and more.

“Denim, denim, denim!” exclaims Adasa co-owner Donna Loren on this season’s hottest trend. “How many pairs do you have in your closet? They’re for daytime, feeling sexy with a great pair of heels at night, or just your basic uniform with a blazer and T-shirt. It’s the must-have and the supreme classic look for men and women.”

In addition to the Kailua store, the ADASA corporate headquarters, outlet and Internet store is located at 2023 Young St., and there’s an ADASA boutique at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. For more information, visit www.adasa.com
