BAYVI (pronounced basics), a Honolulu-based surf and skate apparel and accessories company, has launched a new website, timed with the debut of its newest line including the BAYVI ‘keep the country country’ fundraiser tee and Limited_VI collection.

“We are Hawaii’s next-generation lifestyle brand, deeply rooted in surf, skate and all that is our lifestyle,” says owner Ron Peterson, 29. “It’s about getting back to basics and providing a fresh perspective in a time when everything feels the same.

“That’s what makes BAYVI different. Whether you’re that one guy on a bike at 5 in the morning going to surf, no matter how good it is, or that one guy at the park skating after the lights are shut off, you understand what it’s about, because it’s the lifestyle we represent.”

The company also offers free membership to its Sixth Alliance, which keeps customers posted on upcoming events and allows them to voice their ideas.

“Many of the designs you see here were designed by Sixth Alliance members,” adds Peterson. “We do a lot of events for our Sixth Alliance members, and it makes BAYVI one collaborative voice pushing forward.”

BAYVI can be found at various stores throughout the state, including Local Motion, HIC, Prototype, Crank and Carve, Haleiwa Surf N Sea, Ecosystems, APB, Hi-Tech Maui, and The Cutlery in Hilo. You also can shop or get more information at www.bayvi.com
