Fall Trends at Neiman Marcus

Neiman Marcus has released its Fall 2009 Trends list, which includes the color red, leopard prints, leggings, motorcycle jackets, metallic shoes, cozy knits, accentuated shoulders, accessories with hardware, major black dresses and high-impact jewelry.
According to Neiman Marcus fashion director Ken Downing, “Red was a fashion-show stopper and the hottest color to emerge in New York and abroad, and leggings resurfaced and were better than ever — especially when worn with cozy knits and metallic shoes.” He also notes that today’s version of the little black dress is worn with decorative accents or accentuated shoulders, and adding high-impact jewelry or a handbag with hardware can make this classic all the more chic.
