This Friday marks the official beginning of the new season, so if you haven’t already, it’s time to update your fall wardrobe.

According to Neiman Marcus, the look for fall is lady chic. Must-have trends to get you looking ladylike include pumps, pencil skirts, dresses, handheld bags, colorblocking, skirts with movement and the color bordeaux.

As for the fall face, it’s all about the strong bordeaux lips. Le Metier de Beaute recently released exclusive lip and nail colors (Bodacious Bordeaux, I’m Worn This Way and Red My Lips) created by Neiman Marcus fashion director Ken

Downing. “The fall runways were filled with a return to polished sophistication and elegance,” says Downing. “The message: Lady Chic. Color is paramount! Bordeaux and deep magentas became my inspiration and palette for the matched (lip and nail) sets.” American fashion stylist Rachel Zoe’s new collection also launched exclusively at Neiman Marcus this fall. Stop by Neiman Marcus for The Current Event Sept. 22-25 and receive an exclusive Rachel Zoe clutch (pictured at left) with a $350 regularpriced Contemporary Sportswear or Dress Collections purchase. One per customer, while supplies last.
