The 2006 Sony Open in Hawaii tees off Jan. 8 with a week festivities at the Waialae Country Club and at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa - the official resort of the Sony Open in Hawaii.

The Sony Open in Hawaii is played at the Waialae Country Club, featuring over 140 internationally-renowned golf professionals competing for the $918,000 champion’s prize of the overall $5.1 million purse.

Admission is free Monday and Tuesday, and $10 per person daily Wednesday through Sunday if purchased in advance at the Hilton Hawaiian Village’s American Express Desk or at all First Hawaiian Bank Oahu locations.
