Shop, a new men’s and women’s boutique at 1221 Kapiolani Blvd. (suite 111) across from Honolulu Design Center. “It’s less print, more unique details and cuts,” says Kara Matsunaga, who co-owns the store with hairstylist/fashion designer Richie Miao. “Our clothing style is different from your usual maxi dressing or printed tees. You have to be proud, confident and know who you are. It goes for everyone no matter what stage of life they’re in.”
The shop carries apparel (including pieces from Miao’s clothing lines Lovelessizm and Lava Roses), hats, watches, handbags, fashion glasses, scarves, and jewelry by Maxi and Bliss Lau. For the holidays, customers can enjoy up to 50 percent off on select items, and one-day specials on Black Friday.
