Created in France, Oxbow celebrates its 25th anniversary this year and its first year in Hawaii. The brand, which offers high-quality and stylish board-riding wear, has sponsored some of our top local surf riders for many years, but it’s the first official year for the company to distribute its products in Hawaii.

The Oxbow Hawaii team includes Laird Hamilton, Duane DeSoto, Candice Appleby, Manu Bouvet, Carine Camboulives, Levi Siver, Jason Polakow and Kai Lenny.

On July 28 at 7:30 p.m., Oxbow presents its new movie

The Oxbow Waterman Experience in Doris Duke Theatre at Honolulu Academy of Arts. The film follows five watermen (Lenny, Siver, DeSoto, Polakow and Hamilton) as they take on some of the biggest waves of the season.

For ticket information, visit honoluluacademy.org.

According to Oxbow Hawaiian Division manager Thierry Daupin, the values of Oxbow are passionate (a passion for riding), creative (riders create a ride better), free (what matters is not domination or rebellion, what matters is the intensity of the ride), stylish (every rider has their own unique style) and humbleness (acknowledging that nature will always be more powerful than humans).

Featured here is a selection of Oxbow’s newest collection. On Oahu, Oxbow is available at Aloha Boardshop, Tropical Blends, Surf n Sea and Hawaiian Water Sports. On Kauai at Hanalei Surf Company, and on Maui at Neil Pryde Maui, Simmer Hawaii, Hawaiian Island Surf and Sport, and Big Kahuna.
