Linda Sugihara, who co-owns T&C Surf Designs with husband Craig, has opened a new store in Manoa, LMS Boutique. But this one doesn’t sell surfboards or wetsuits. Instead, you’ll find a great selection of trendy clothes and accessories for the fashion-savvy woman.

“I love to set new goals, accomplish them and move on to the next one,” says Sugihara on the opening of LMS Boutique. “T&C Surf turned 40 this year, so it was landmark time in my career. It was also great timing because my manager Tobey Ishii brought the right background and perspective to the boutique.”

Some of the brands you’ll find include James & Joy, Remi & Reid, Stretta, Jenny and Jimbob, Big Buddha, Tiare Teiti, Funktional, Dolce Vita, VaVa, Voom, Society for Rational Dress, RFavela and Tiare Hawaii. The store also aims to showcase up-andcoming designers from Los Angeles, New York, and, of course, Hawaii.

Also, new Deux Lux bags and the popular Thursday Friday “Together” bags are expected to arrive just in time for the holidays.

“We carry a balance of apparel that blends into Hawaii’s casual lifestyle but carries a certain level of elegance and sophistication,” says Sugihara. “The mixture can be worn during warm tropical days and transition to evening.”

LMS Boutique, which stands for Let Me Shop, is located at 2909 Lowrey Ave. For more information, call 988-4575 or visit their facebook page.
