The Made In Hawaii Festival, presented by First Hawaiian Bank, returns to the Neal S. Blaisdell Center Exhibition Hall and Arena on Friday, Aug. 17 through Sunday, Aug. 19.

This year’s event, themed “Buy Hawaii, For Hawaii,” features more than 420 booths from six of the Hawaiian Islands: the Big Island, Kauai, Maui, Molokai, Niihau and Oahu.

Among the countless products to be offered are Niihau shell leis, earrings and bracelets by Kalei Pupu O Niihau; hand-made bags, belts and accessories by local designer Denise Tjarks, accessories accented with Swarovski crystals by Sachi Designs; lauhala hats, purses and accessories by Patrise of the Big Island; hand-painted resort wear for women and children by Moved to Maui; and more.

There also will be ono local food, including assorted Molokai breads, lavosh and dry bread mixes by Kanemitsu Bakery; hot fudge sauce by Maui Mudd; organic honey from Big Island Bees; and chocolate-dipped cookies, biscotti, Chex mix and energy bars by Big Island Delights.

Also, enjoy entertainment by Jerry Santos, Raiatea Helm, Aunty Genoa Keawe and Frank De Lima.

Festival hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission costs $3, free for children age 6 and under. Coupons for a $1 discount are available at First Hawaiian Bank locations on Oahu.
