Hawaii’s largest mall is getting even bigger. In the last few months, Ala Moana Center welcomed the opening of 17 new shops and restaurants. More are expected to open this year, and in spring 2008, Hawaii will get its first full-line Nordstrom Inc. department store.

Among the new stores are Bonheur, Patisserie La Palme D’Or, W Salon, ABC Store, Aldo Shoes, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Co., Damiani, Hibachi-san, Jimmy Choo, Juicy Couture, Koi Koi, Kyoto Ohsho, Levi’s, Miss Sixty/Energie, Pearl, Philip Rickard Honolulu, Silver Rhino, Theory and TradeSecret.

Coming soon are Paris Miki and Loree Rodkin (both to open in March), and Tsukiji Fish Market and Restaurant. Ala Moana Center, which is owned and managed by General Growth Properties, is known to be the world’s largest outdoor shopping center with 260 stores, including nearly 70 dining options.
