WeSellThings4u and Queen’s Candy Shop (formerly The Candy Shop) celebrate the end of summer with a Non-Profit Program Launch Party Friday, Aug. 17, from 7 p.m. to midnight.

The event will feature entertainment by Nomasterbacks, Soul Pacific and Red-Eye Jedi, and the debut of two local designers Leah Evans and Liezel Pagala. Also, enjoy 20 percent off savings on clothing and accessories, and 10 percent off shoes.

“Starting Aug. 17, a portion of every sale at both WeSellThings4u and Queen’s Candy Shop will go to a local Hawaii non-profit of the customer’s choice,” says Courtney Young, director of marketing and development for Queen’s Candy Shop. “At Queen’s Candy Shop, which opened in February, you’ll find a mix of D.I.Y. (do it yourself) and streetwear.”

WeSellThings4u and Queen’s Candy Shop are owned by local girl Tiffany Tanaka of Manoa. Some of the brands you’ll find at Queen’s Candy Shop are Michele Lau, Akane, Dan Weaver, La Pistil, Adidas, Nike, PegLeg, Roberta Oaks, Beautiful Decay, Bliss Lau, Lacoste, Leroy Jenkins, Original Gangsta and Blue Geisha.

Queen’s Candy Shop is located at 839 Queen St. (between Ward Avenue and Cooke Street). For more information, call 589-1102 or visit www.candyshop4u.com
