Windward native Paul Clayton now resides in Ewa Beach, but the Castle graduate just couldn’t resist opening a store in his hometown.
Skin, which carries lifestyle apparel, shoes and accessories for men, women and children, including products from the motocross, skate and ultimate fighting scene, can be found in Windward Mall, on the second floor above Ruby Tuesday.
“The majority of the products we carry are limited,” says Clayton, who co-owns the Skin stores in Hawaii with wife Stacy. “We pride ourselves in bringing in the freshest and edgiest, most innovative products to the Islands. But I think the thing that people like the most about this shop is that it has a friendly vibe.
“Customer service is important to us. We build relationships with our customers. When you come in, it’s an experience.”
Brands available include Skin, No Fear, Zoo York, DC, Tap Out, Lost, So Cal, Silver Star and hats from New Era.
